My oldest daughter, Morgan, has been blogging for some time and
has been really "encouraging" me to try it, so here goes...
A little history about me: I am fortunate to be celebrating my 19th wedding anniversary with a wonderful man in just a few days. What a blessing he has been to my life! We have six children. Two from a previous, two adopted and two biological! We must be out of our minds. But I can hardly wait for the holidays when they all to grow up. Life is truly about family. And I have alot to be thankful for. I have one granddaughter who turned one last July. What a treasure she is. I was surprised to find myself experiencing some of the same feelings that I felt when I was pregnant myself when my DIL was expecting her first child. Those are pretty powerful emotions that I never expected to feel again. I now imagine that they will come every time one of my children is on the verge of parenthood. One of the unexpected joys of grandparenting! :)
My current hobbies/obsessions are quilting, shoes and cooking. A few other passions come and go, but these seem to be pretty constant. So I suppose there will be a fair amount of items posted on my blog about those topics. I hope someone out there enjoys them as much as I do.
